I decided last Friday that I had totally had it with my A105 S2081 - but I knew I couldn't afford to replace it. So, I looked on Toshiba.com - put in my laptop's details and it gave me the choices I had - I went for the Kingston 1GB, since I wanted the thing to be much faster, even though I had no idea how to install it. (By the way you can get it cheaper other places, but I preferred to trust Toshiba, and I think I was right!) It came less than a week later by GROUND (why pay extra!), Toshiba's website had the manual to my laptop and in the memory section it told me exactly what to do - remove battery first, then follow the memory installation instructions. It took a novice with no idea 10 minutes tops - and it works briliantly - I feel like my computer is working at warp speed. Before, it took about 20 minutes for a restart to load everything and now it took less than 2 minutes. You gotta get one of these!

My notebook was starting to show messages that the performance was being affected by lack of memory. So I bought this product and installed it on my satellite A-135 and the performance was instantly noticed. No more slow turn offs or on's and it opens up pages on the net with no lag.

I have two Toshiba Laptops. I just purchased and recieved 2 1gig memory modules for my A105-s2716 lap top. I had 2 512mb memory modules in it. My computer is twice as fast now as well as does not bog down when running multiple large applications. I even changed a few of the performance settings which has given me the full power of the memory modules. I run windows xp and it boots up just as fast as mac now. If you have vista you will be silly not to upgrade ur memory

Most significant improvement in performance I've experienced in an upgrade. From taking forever to load and having to carefully manage how many programs and windows are open at one time to no problem ever. Price was right, quality has proven solid, and I have no complaints

I purchased my Toshiba Satellite M55-S1001 in September 2006. It was very slow from the get-go. I didn't know about upgrading, memory, etc. A few weeks, I was tired and frudtrated how slow my laptop was compared to everyone else's. So I was prepared to buy a new Toshiba laptop, even another brand. I began to research, what I could possibly do, and read something on Memory "RAM." I read through my instruction manual which came with my laptop, and it said I could upgrade my memory. I still was not sure what this would do, so I went online to the Toshiba web site. I found what I needed, A memory module. I read the reviews and was sold by the idea that upgrading the memory will make your laptop faster. I purchased the memory module. I installed it. My laptop was fast! Really fast! I am going to buy another memory module to make it 2GB. I am really happy with the product and specialy the price. This is the best deal.

I bought this for my toshiba m115-s3094. when I installed this and turned my computer on to see if I could notice any difference, the difference was immediately noticeable. I can now startup my computer and get online witin about 5 seconds, compared to the previous 5 minute wait. I can also run tons of programs at the same time which is very useful as a college student.

Awesome! I bought this for my superslow (L-25 S1192) satellite laptop and it's like new but faster! I'm new to these things and it was super easy to install. I do a lot of photo editing and the praograms load up quick and so do the photos. Best purchase I've made for my computers.

I am very happy that I bought additional memory. It has made my laptop about eight times faster than it originally was with the 256 MB of RAM.

I wanted to increase the original 512mb RAM to 2gb so that Vista Home Basic would run better. I tried the "cheaper" varieties available on ebay. Not so fast dude. Those things are NOT always "compatible", even when they are the same specs (PC2-4200, 533MHz FSB, DDR2 SODIMM). So, I came back to Toshiba, bought 2 of their 1gb Kingston SODIMM sticks for my A135-S2326, and shazzam ... it works GREAT! You might spend a few more bucks/stick at Toshiba, but not having the hassles of incompatibility are well worth it!!!

Bought a Toshiba Satellite A105 S101. It came with only 256MB and was so slow I wanted to throw it against the wall! It would freeze if to many windows were open while on the net or running a few programs at once. At first I thought it was the Celeron-M processor running so slow. Upgraded to max of 2GB and boy what a difference! Now takes under two mins to fully boot. Runs so much faster to the point, i'm no longer frustrated with this machine. Was going to buy another PC but will keep for now. Upgrade memory first, b4 anything else! Especially if you are running Vista. Save your sanity!
