It enables you to charge the Slice Expansion Battery while the notebook is docked in the Express Port Replicator (PA3508U-1PRP), so it is fully charged when you are ready to go.
The adapter gives you the convenience to keep a spare Slice Expansion Battery charged at all times to give you extended battery life for more computing time, to watch more movies, play more games or listen to more music.
