Bought this TV/DVD combo to replace a 19" of the same by Toshiba for my son. Other one worked perfect but I am also using the TV as a computer monitor for his room and extending the video and audio via HDMI extenders. The old monitor did not support audio from the computer via HDMI but the new one does. We have 5 other Toshiba TVs in the home and 4 are used as TV and computer monitors. I have never had a problem with any of my Toshibas. The 24" has a good picture and 1080p comes through if you have HDTV or similar device attached. My son can watch Netflix in 1080 via the computer and any DVD with the built in player. I guess if you really want to watch blu-ray movies you can always attach a player via the second HDMI input. It does not seem to have a headphone jack or at least I cannot find it. Have a 2.1 system to attach via the headphone jack but probably need to go with digital optical system.

Toshiba is the last respected "name" brand making these combo sets. I have a previous 15" Toshiba combo that's still good as new, taking up little space on my desk and leading my wife to want the same (good for playing CDs as well). The 15" is no longer available, but this 24"model is no heavier, and the picture is even sharper. A Toshiba Regza, our first HDTV, also continues to perform flawlessly after 5 years.

Nice TV. I hooked up a good set of wireless headphones so as not to disturb downstairs neighbor. TV indicates less than 1080P but picture is still pretty good.

This tv has a nice picture, speakers aren't that great, would reccomend an external speaker of some sort if you want any quality of sound. No owner's manual available, just a quick setup guide.
