I got this a few days ago and I love it! I love the multitasking power and this keyboard is amazing. A few things that bother me: Glossy finish (which is very sexy on this computer) is a major fingerprint magnet, if you ever see me with this computer you'll see me with a cloth rubbing every inch of this computer down to get rid of the fingerprints. Next is the track pad and buttons, the track pad isn't very good but its usable. Thanks Toshiba for the wonderful computer!

This laptop has been great. I am a software developer so I use Visual Studio 8 and 10 on here with 0 issues. I am actually getting fond of Windows 7 and not missing XP at all. Cons The mouse pad and mouse buttons are the worst I have ever found on a laptop. But since I use this as my main computer I use a portable mouse with it anyway, I hate using any kind of touch pad on laptops. I'm not sure what slowness the gentleman above was experiencing, I've never had an issue and that is with running Office AND Visual Studio (multiple instances). 4GB of RAM is more than anyone needs unless you are a photo/video editor, in which case, why in the world would you be using a laptop?

I simply don't get it. How can a brand new laptop with 4Gb memory be 20x slower than my old, outdated 5 year one with 512 memory? But that's the reality with Toshiba T135D-S1324. I only need the computer for net browsing and running some regular photo, and word programs. Even this is a challenge to the Toshiba and the delay of opening programs or starting the laptop is annoying. Another minus is the unavailable option to chose which version of Windows I want to run. With this one you are stuck with 7 which is visually stunning but nothing else (I prefer XP since it has least problems and take less memory). One can wonder what on earth the manufacturer was thinking when they added the bad clicker to the touch pad: the touch pad and clicker is awful. It's too hard, sticky and clonky and after a few hours of use your fingers hurt. It's actually 'off' so if you don't touch the clicker all the way to the left, it misses and you have to make sure to precision use the buttons. Another bad thing is the sound quality. Why on earth this company doesn't sign-up with Altec Lansing or some other excellent but low priced audio company is confusing, instead of using the poor quality features they currently have. Don't these people try their own products before they manufacture and sell them?? The plus with this laptop is the light weight. It could, however, been even lighter in my opinion since it has no DVD. The screen is really gorgeous and this is the T135's biggest plus point. The colors and images are vivid. Other from that, nah...
