LAS VEGAS (CES Booth #12832), (Jan. 7, 2008) — Toshiba’s Digital Products Division, a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today announced that its Qosmio®, Satellite® X205 and select models of the Satellite U305 notebook series will incorporate Intel’s new line of performance Core 2 Duo mobile processors — (codename Penryn) designed to deliver greater computing prowess to power the most demanding applications.

New models of the Satellite X205 will use the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T8100 to drive gaming performance even higher, while the 4.5 pound¹ Satellite U305 will harness the Intel Core2 Duo Processor T8100 to prove that mobility and performance are not mutually exclusive. The Qosmio G45 with the Intel Core2 Duo Processor T9300 will continue to lead the industry’s integration of HD DVD technology.
