Toshiba Announces Newly Designed Satellite P300 Series Laptops
Satellite P300 Series Desktop Replacement Line Built Upon Elegant Design and Technology Innovations
IRVINE, Calif., (April 8, 2008) — Toshiba’s Digital Products Division (DPD), a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today announced it’s now shipping the new Satellite® P300 laptop series, a stylishly designed, innovative desktop replacement that features Toshiba’s all new brilliant Fusion™ finish with Horizon pattern, while pushing the performance of Toshiba’s laptops even higher. Bonded within the Satellite P300 series chassis is Toshiba’s unique Fusion finish™ with Horizon design, a distinctive blend of appearance and texture. A flush mounted touchpad rests seamlessly across the front of the palm rest with a white LED light across the top to enhance the detail-oriented finish, while providing a slight texture change so users can easily find the touchpad without looking away from the screen. Innovative Sleep-and-Charge USB ports featured on the Satellite P300 series allows for popular mobile devices such as MP3 players, mobile phones and PDAs to be charged whether the laptop is powered-on or off.
