HEADLINE: dynadock™ wireless U Now Available with Windows® 7 Beta Drivers
FROM: Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., Digital Products Division
DATE: October 16, 2009

DESCRIPTION: Toshiba’s new dynadock™ wireless U universal docking station is now available at major e-tailers and at toshibadirect.com. The device acts as a conduit for add-on peripherals like external speakers, keyboard, mouse, monitor, router and other accessories to easily link with the laptop. It joins a family of products including the dynadock U, which was the #1 selling docking station online from May to August 2009 according to the NPD Group's Retail Tracking Service.

The newest addition to the dynadock family features wireless USB technology that eliminates the need for a cable connection between the docking station and laptop. In addition, the dynadock wireless U and popular dynadock U are leading the way for universal docking stations by now offering Windows® 7 beta drivers for both products. Additional key features of the dynadock wireless U that separate it from the competition is the integrated digital audio card that adds high quality 7.1 surround sound and six USB 2.0 ports including two front Sleep-and-Charge1 USB ports that supply power to cell phones, MP3 players and other devices even when your PC is off. Additionally, the dynadock wireless U features a one touch dock/undock button that ensures all peripherals are shut down properly when undocking to prevent data loss.

    Additional product features include:
  • Automatic connectivity
  • HD Digital Video card for connecting to an extra VGA or DVI monitor with up to 1680 x 1050 resolution
  • Dedicated wireless radio antenna for enhanced video performance
  • Bi-directional ISOCH (constant frequency mode of governing) support, for Audio, webcams, microphones and USB speakers

Detailed product information is available at www.dynadock.com.

AVAILABILITY: Available now at major e-tailers, directly at toshibadirect.com and soon will be available in limited supply at a variety of major consumer electronics and computer stores nationwide for an estimated MSRP of $299.992. The dynadock wireless U offers universal compatibility with all versions of Windows® XP, Vista® and Windows 7 beta drivers available for download at Toshiba’s support site:
