This is really a great laptop! it's really fast and can handle programs like the sims 2 without even getting warm. The battery lasts nearly two hours, I have yet to hear the fan going. The sound is extremely clean and clear. It even has a built in wireless card so you don't have to waste time and money on a wireless card. Before the start menu is even loaded the internet is connected and ready to go. I not only got my money's worth, but I underpaid for this computer.

When my wife and I bought the satellite a305-s6898, I was a little concerned about the price, but it proved to be one of the best investments we have made. I drive a truck and trucks put out alot of vibration and can be torture on a laptop, but this computer has definately put up with what the truck can dish out. As many have said, the cooling abilities is wonderful. Finally a computer with a built in sound system that I can hear over the sound of the engine from the truck. Pat yourself on the back Toshiba. Awsome computer inspite of the cost but well worth it. And not to mention the design pattern. NIIIICCCCEEEEE

The best computer I have ever owned. Total expandability! Nothing gets old. Fast, Every feature the best. If you need more hard drive space, just pop another hard drive in with the one you already have. One word says it all! AWESOME!!

I recieved this as a gift for Christmas.My stepfather asked the salesman what a good laptop for photography.The guy said this one.I llove the shiny,wet appearance,the speed,and overall performance of this laptop for what I use it for.

This is a wonderful computer. It runs trouble free on Windows Vista. The web cam is great quality, a flash would have been a nice addition. The battery life could be a little better but it is still good enough to watch a 90 movie. The processor runs fast, smooth, and quiet. I use this computer for everything. From writing term papers to mixing music at the local night club. You would be nuts to not give this laptop a try!

the laptop is awesoem from its look to all its features,,so addictive,,runs really fast, excellent display view, battery runs almost 3hrs, another than the price, i would really recommend u guys in gettin ur hands on this laptop and not think twice, its worth the money and more. i got the special edition one,,no words would decsribe how cool it looks.

So far I did not have any problems with this laptop. It's blazing fast, looks great and the camera has a great resolution ( I believe 2MP). I absolutely LOVE the speakers and sound options (13 equalizer options - dance, rock, club. party, live soft, classic.....and 24 enviroment options such as Living room, Forest, Mountains, Auditorium, Hall, City etc. ). They are very loud and have a Dolby option making it sound like a surround system! I also like the Toshiba Face Recognition but you can only use it when there is plenty of light around you. It would be nice if there was more software installed, not just trials. Also, I was suprised to know that the screen resolution is only 1280 x 800 but with the Radeon graphics card (much better than that Intel chipset 4500) it looks very bright and sharp! All and all I love this laptop.

I have the A305-S6898 special edition and I absolutely love it. I've had 7 windows opened at a time while playing 2 games and it didnt slow down one bit. The performance is amazing. If I had to pick something on it that i would change it would be the volume control. Instead of stopping at the highest and lowest volume it spins forever. But I have never been more satisfied with a computer.

Seems to run well with the usual applications..then..would not boot up and gave me the blue screen of death on day 20. It ran through a repair sequence but could not fix itself. It suggested that a revert back to a previous point in time, but, I could loose programs and data permanently. What choice did I have? I did it and it seems to be OK now (?) I wonder how this stuff CONTINUES to happen with Windows based PC's. I sure wish MS can get things right at SOME point in time! If I didn't have a ton of software that was Windows based I'd sure look long and hard at an Apple. But, even then the price would probably turn me back to Windows (about HALF the price!)
