| This laptop is sleak, stylish, and very quiet. This wasn't the laptop I was planning to get but it cought my eye and I'm so happy I changed my mind! Plus it was $300 cheaper than the other laptop I almost bought. Toshiba is my new brand of choice. My mom is also upgrading her HP to toshiba since she loved mine so much. |

| I bought a hp and due to horrible battery life on that model i returned the hp and decided to go with this Toshiba (due to the similar price range). This model has a 9 cell battery that lasts about 4 hours for me, using just the wifi and default settings. Great performance with the centrino proc and for a great price, buy this one!!! Another thing is that this model is energy star certified and the harman/kardon speakers are great for laptop speakers. |

| I consider myself an advanced user and I researched among many models before settling on this Toshiba model.
I found this Toshiba to be the best deal in terms of the following criteria: a) very good battery life, b) good to very good processing power c) price.
I purchased three of these laptops for my business and we've been extremely happy with it. I did some customization to the original out of the box machine (such as removing all the extra garbage programs, trials, etc) in an effort to leave the machine in a good, cleaner state.
I then added several items necessary for our business, Office 2007, MS SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, Virtual machine software, etc) and have been extremely happy with its performance.
We travel a lot and have had this laptop on for several 3+ hr trips, running dev programs and two concurrent virtual machines without a problem. At the end, I still had another hour or so of battery life.
The processing capacity is great for what we do. I have SQLSMS and excel 2007 crunching data without any problems. Doing basic things like web surfing is a snap.
I absolutely love the skype/webcamera installation. I've been able to conduct web conferences using this sweet tool with folks in Asia and South America with only a few VOIP delays but we are definately hooked on Skype.
My only complain is the OS (Windows Vista).
The price is great for the machine you get and I would recommend it to any regular or advanced users without any hesitation. |

| I have had a few problems with it as far as opening more than one program at a time or alt tabbing and reopening a program a windows vista computer with lower speed and everything can do it fine I dont know it is vista premium. The machine gets hot after a while and the heat is all under my left hand. Also I dont like how the power cord plugs into the right side and that takes up space where my mouse/cord could go. Other than that this is a great machine. |

| I shopped around looking for latops but it was the Toshiba Satellite A305-S6905 that I liked the best. It provided me with a nice key layout and had the dual core processors with good on chip cache. It also included very nice user features and good performance. I am very happy with this laptop and will probably buy another one in the future. |

| This laptop is very well-designed and packed with plenty of speed, storage, and RAM memory. I like that it boots up quickly and re-boots from sleep mode quickly. Everyone in my family now fights to use this laptop. I only wish that it had an HDMI and S-video outputs; most competing brands in this price range have them. The glossy finish is prone to fingerprints, but it keeps minor scratches away, and all you need is a microfiber polishing cloth to keep it looking nice. |

| I spilled water over my last laptop and had to buy a new one. When the salesperson showed me this one, I didn't like how it looked at first because it was so incredibly shiny. Now, I love it and am so glad that my disaster turned into something great. This computer was cheaper than my previous computer by about $200-300 ('07 model, got this march 09) but works so much better and has more great aspects to it. I love the speakers and the keyboard is wonderful to use (it just feels so great!) I can play the sims on here too, which makes me so happy! and i still have a ton of hard drive space left. best computer out there, and a fantastic price for it. |

| My first Toshiba and I like it very much. After having a Dell I am amazed at the performance, design and I love the keyboard. Fingerprints are an issue due to the black shine on the laptop but I am used to that now. Shine it up every once in awhile and that is the least of my worries. |

| Overall this is a very good product for the cost. I would buy it again. The battery life is very good and performance is good. I do plan on adding additional memory. Screen size and image quality is a big improvement over my prior laptop which was 5 years old.
Two items that I do not care for is the keys are slick and the mouse pad could have a little more feedback such as a rougher surface. |

| I like the looks and the easy touch type. As with all laptops I am not in love with the pad. I prefer the mouse which I have. I know at this time it is the only way to do it but I don't like the "sticks" (internet and mouse) on each side of the laptop. |

| This is my first laptop, and I love it! The battery lasts long, it doesn't get hot, I can run 10 different windows and it doesn't slow down...it's just a great computer! |

| I was formerly using a desktop unit that, while it had great performance, was leaving me wanting more and taking up too much space. I bought this laptop after checking out various ones from different companies. This one was within my price range and above what I was hoping to get. It greatly outperforms my desktop unit and uses less electricity too. Based on it's performance and my experiences so far I would highly recommend Toshiba laptops in general and this model in particular. |

| This is my second Toshiba laptop. I'm really glad I decided to go with this one rather than let the sales person talk me into a HP Pavillion. The only thing I miss is the 10-key I have on my other laptop. But that's minor compared to the way it's worked out for me. |

| I love this laptop, it does everything that I wanted it to do. The battery life is great. Screen a great size for watching videos on. Downloads music and burns it right onto a CD. |
