I previously used (and still have) a Toshiba A45-S121 for 4+ years and i upgraded it as high and far as it would go. but for the projects and programs i wanted to run, I still needed more. so i recently purchased this newer model, and i have to admit... i definatly was NOT disappointed! all the Devices that i could possibly need, the video grapics. the speed, the performance... it's all there! I've tried other brands like HP for example; and after being let down i've always professed to my friends that the only laptops i will purchase will have 'Toshiba' on it! well, from my point of view... this new laptop i bought just put the last nail in the competition's coffin! Toshiba for life!

This computer is great. It has all the features I wanted plus some. Sometimes the mouse does stick and the face recognition doesn't work that well but overall it is a great computer. I would recommend to anyone.

This is a good laptop, All the programs work great, the only issue I have is that it doesn't come with Bluetooth built in. I love the feel of the keyboard and the 16" Display is great. For the price it's a very good Laptop.

After months of research (both online and with my computer gurus at work), I chose the Tosiba A355-S6935 laptop. I use it for some work related projects but mostly it is for personal use. I was able to hook up the universal docking station and utilize an external monitor and keyboard fairly easy. These I use mostly for my work projects. When I use just the laptop, at first I had problems with emails being sent too early, problems with the mouse, etc. I think it was just a matter of getting used to working on a laptop plus I needed to watch how I held my hands so my wrists didn't hit the mouse pad or the left/right click buttons. My solution -- I installed a laser mouse. As far as the battery life, at first I was disappointed but now that I also have a laptop at work, I found that battery-life for most laptops suck. At any rate I have not had any problems at all and have been using this laptop for over 6 months. My best advice, read the instructions before setting up. I find that most people don't like to read the instructions before setting up and that is where the problems come in. I had a few problems when I was setting up my laptop and docking station but was able to tell support exactly what steps I had completed and they were able to help me out right away instead of playing a guessing game of what went wrong.

good machine, except cursor jumps around and it sends replies before I am ready. OTHERWISE, it appears to be a good machine.
