I purchased the Qosmio x305-q701. It is a awsome laptop. i could have gotten a little bit better laptop for the same price but the red flame design is just awsome.

I have had many computers over the years including Dells, Hewlett Packards and IBMs but this is the best one ever. The performance and features are amazing for the price. The pictures do not do justice to the looks. The colors, lights and style make it like the instrument panel of a Ferrari.

Quick Boot Up - Clear Display- HDMI output bright and clear. Quiet Fan. Great Storage Amount. A nice 9 pounds. All good. Not as much 3rd party software as i realized. Outstanding Surround sound from Speakers!!! Use a mini-toslink to a toslink and connect to a Dolby Decoder... HD sounds all-around!! Above Average battery Life. My Cons: webcam kinda fuzz

This is a great laptop. I was concerned about its looks but everyone seems to be drawn to it and like the way it looks. Why did I buy this one? Its fast, display is nice, keyboard is a pleasure to type on, sound is incredible for a laptop and it does not get hot. I was concerned with using Vista but have had no problems. With this one you get both 32 and 64bit installed and get your choice. I was concerned that it didnt come with restore disks but found that Toshiba included a utility that lets you create these. Be sure to buy 5 blank disks and create these early on. If youre a shy person, dont buy this because you will get lots of attention.
